If you have ever heard about people making money online, here is your chance to join the league of those who make money online.
All Nigerian Recipes will pay you when you write and send in detailed recipes that are fit for publishing on the website.
For your recipe to qualify for publishing:
- It must be detailed. All Nigerian Recipes website is visited by lots of people who are new to Nigerian cooking so this website is known for its detailed recipes that anyone can follow. Use the Nigerian Meat Pie recipe, the Ofe Ugba recipe or the Nigerian Cake recipe as a guide when writing the recipe you will submit.
- All Nigerian Recipes does not accept all recipes. For now, recipes that are already on All Nigerian Recipes are not acceptable. For instance, we already have the recipe of Bitterleaf Soup on the website so that one na bad market. 😉 If you want to submit a Nigerian snack recipe, visit the Nigerian Snacks Recipes page on All Nigerian Recipes, scroll down the page and take a look at the recipes that are already there.
You can also look at the other categories: Beans Recipes, Breakfast Recipes, Drinks Recipes, Plantain Recipes, Rice Recipes, Snacks Recipes, Soups Recipes and Yam Recipes. That a recipe is not on the website does not mean that I will pay you to write it for All Nigerian Recipes. For instance, there’s no recipe for Fried Eggs on the website but I will not accept it as a submission. Feel free to contact me (e-mail below) to check that I will consider a recipe before you write it and send in.
- All recipes must be traditional Nigerian recipes. For instance, I do not want Egg Fried Rice rather I will consider Egusi Pepper Soup, Kunun Zaki, Ofo Soup etc. A little bit of background/history of the recipe will also prove that you know what you are talking about. If you submit the same recipe as another person at the same time, the background story of the recipe will help me make a decision on which recipe I will pick to publish.
- All recipes must be well written which means no short forms of words, slangs etc. I can’t pay for a recipe that will require lots of editing.
- The recipe must be your work. That means you cannot go and copy a recipe from the internet and send. I have software for finding out if the recipe is originally written by you or not.
- The recipe you send shall be exclusive to All Nigerian Recipes meaning that you have not published it on another platform and will not publish it on another platform.
- The recipe must come with one main photo of the dish served in a plate and at least 4 photos of the various steps. You can submit more photos of the steps if you wish. See photo taking guidelines below. All photos must be yours which means you took the photos or someone helped you take the photos. Do not go and download a photo from the internet and send. You will be found out.
Photo Guidelines
- All photos must be taken in a landscape mode. Place your camera/phone like this (landscape mode) when taking photos or making a video you will submit with your recipe.
The following image shows portrait mode, photos taken or videos made by placing your phone or camera this way will NOT be accepted.

- All photos must be clear and bright and not blurry.
- There should be no food smears on the plate.
- You must use a white plate with no flowers, text or coloured shapes.
- Photos should be taken against a neat background, if you do not have an neat table, spread a clean white tablecloth and place your plates on top.
How much money will you receive per recipe?
I pay One Thousand Naira (N1,000) per recipe. But the recipes must be submitted in batches of 5 which means you prepare and write 5 recipes. When you are ready, you send all five to me. This is to reduce bank charges.
I will transfer the money to your bank account once I post the recipes on this website. There is no limit to the number of recipes you can send. You can send in as many recipes as you have but in batches of five.
REMEMBER: I will only pay you if I publish your work on All Nigerian Recipes. Submission does not guarantee that the recipe will be approved. But I will pay once I publish it.
When I receive your submission, I will take a look and see if it is something I want to publish on All Nigerian Recipes. If it passes all hurdles which include making sure that it is your original work, it is detailed, each recipe comes with 5 quality photos and is well written, I will approve it.
I am doing this because:
- I have other online businesses that I am passionate about that I am working on so I need help meeting up with the recipes requests I get.
- Some of you send me recipes to publish on the website or on Facebook without asking for anything. This is an opportunity for you to start earning money from those recipes if you are interested. Now, write those recipes following the guidelines above and bam, you can make yourself some money from it. Win-win for everyone!
If you are interested in earning some money writing for All Nigerian Recipes, send me those well written recipes following the directives above to recipes[at]allnigerianrecipes.com. Replace [at] with @ I did that because I want to try and prevent spam to that email address.
I handle this on a first come, first served basis. If I will consider your recipe, you will receive a reply from me. If you do not hear from me it means that your recipe will not be considered because you did not follow the guidelines to the letter. If there’s a backlog, there maybe some delay in getting a reply from me so be patient.
There is more to this process that I may have missed in the information above so if you have any questions, ask me right here in the comments below (scroll down).

Good day,
I am applying for the recipe writing opportunity.
Thanks
Hello Aunty Flo,
I am interested.
What about traditional recipes that have been adapted to suit a certain diet eg gluten free, diabetic etc? Is that ok?
God bless
Chioma in such cases, it is best to write the recipe based on the traditional recipe then include the changes you made to adapt it as notes. If there’s a noticeable difference in the look of the adapted meal (when served in a plate) from the traditional look, then it will be necessary to send photos of the 2 versions. We will discuss this in detail in the email I will send to you shortly.
I truly appreciate this avenue you have created for food lovers.I am very interested in writing for All Nigerian Receipe.Thank You

I am very delighted to see this opportunity. I am very interested to write for your blog. I also wish to ask in a case someone have her own blog or planning to have one, will you also prohibit the fellow from publishing her work on her blog? Meanwhile, I await your reply to kick start. also interested to help in working on the recipes. Thanks a lot and God bless you
Udunma yes you are prohibited from publishing that exact recipe on your blog. This is because you will be paid for the recipe you will write for All Nigeria Recipes so the recipe should be exclusive to All Nigerian Recipes.
If you would like to contribute to All Nigerian Recipes and still have the recipes uploaded on your blog and other platforms then you should go the guest posting route. Guest Posts are unpaid and in most cases, you will get a profile on the platform where you are guest posting with a link back to your blog.
