2. I rate with 9. i like it because its very detailed. My husband is from Nigeria and when i start cooking from your book he told me that i cook like his mommy, so that was grate i made it !!!!

2. I would rate it 7% out of 10 because its a phenomenun in cookbooks. A novist or someone who has no iota of idea on how to make Nigerian dishes can go-bye just fine without hinges. I shouldn’t be analyzing this book because the treatment I got was very bad, a page out of the one I bought is missing athough I’ve been complaing about it for a while now and am been giving the same excuse over and over again, I would still give credit to where its due.
3. I like the fact that its detailed and easy to follow, like I said earlier.
4. It will be very lovely if Flo can add more drinks and pasteries.
Maybel usually when a customer has a complaint about the book, the first step is to report to Konga and they will contact us immediately. And I did not receive any such complaint with your name. I am just assuming you bought it from Konga because you mentioned Pay on Delivery so please can you confirm that you bought it from Konga? And who is David because I do not know him? What’s his surname?
If you bought it from Konga and you tried several times to report and there’s no help in sight, there is an email address listed inside the cookbook (on the Preface and on page 286). Did you send an email to that address? I made it easy for people to contact me all over the cookbook by listing all my social media addresses where you can contact me on so when you say you have been complaining about it for a while I wonder exactly to who you have been complaining.
So please look up the email address I mentioned and send an email to that address. Also send me your order number. This is the order number that Konga sent to you by text/email when you placed an order for the cookbook on their website.

2. 12….it is comprehensive, even to those who have never cooked nigerian food before. The steps and pictures explain everthing in detail

1.I do not own a hard copy of the recipe book, I found out about it on line when I had American guests and I wanted to serve Nigerian cuisine, so I searched for some nigerian recipes and found ‘all nigerian recipes’.
2. I sincerely would rate this cook book 10. My reason is that it has not yet disappointed me, Since i found it online, I have resorted to it each time i needed to cook any nigerian dish and so I refer all my friends in diaspora to this site should they need any recipe. I rely on “all nigerian recipe” from puff puff to jollof rice. This indeed is the greatest most complete recipe book for nigerian cuisines. To have a copy will be a huge blessing as I have to go online each time i plan a menu.
3. “all nigerian recipe book” is all encompassing. its all inclusive, its a total book, it contained basically all nigerian dishes, there is just no need to look else where.
4. Since lots of nigerians who would rely on this cook book live abroad,it might help to indicate foreign names for some of our local ingredients.
My kids and i love puff puff, i make it often on week ends in cold weather so we drink lots of tea and puff. is there a healthier options for puff puff? for eg can it be baked rather than fry? has any one tried to bake puff puff?
Sandra if you bake Puff Puff it will be like bread because of all that yeast. So you can as well eat bread. The classic taste of Puff Puff is in deep-frying it. It’s ok to eat it once in a while. I have not had Puff Puff this year and we are already in June.

I got the book from my boyfriend as gift and he bought it online. Guess it was a hidden way to tell me I should cook for him haha.
Well I would rate the book with 8. It includes a lot of general recipe and will help and guide you through the process of preparing a meal. There is always a possibility of improvement and it might also be better to offer the book as a ring binder so it would me more easy to leave it open while cooking.
What I like most is the good explanations and the pictures that will help you to do it right.
For the next edition i would love to have some “advanced” or let me say some special recipe that are not cooked often in Europe but will defenetly get your partner (or whomever you serve the food to) excited about it. Something you could also surprise your mother in law with 😉

1- I bought the book from amazon. 2- I will rate it 8 stars. Though the book it’s so full of Nigerian recipes with optional method I would really love to see more recipes from other tribes ( as the name of the book implies all nija recipes) bein Hausa but born and bred in lag with igbo neigbhours I was oppurtuned growin up learnin different tribal dishes. So would really love to see more of Hausa recipes ( dough we may not have much soups, snacks etc compared to other tribes) we still ve a few dat a worth sharing eg- dambu, iloka, kunun Aya etc. 3- The step by step easy illustration and straight to the point especially with you tube illustration that really helps after you read and need help for any recipe. 4- wooow the book is past perfect more colours and more tribal recipesss ( Nigeria as we all know is a rich tribal land so more research on tribal food and maybe addition on food history) eg- some foods re served strictly on wedings or originated from a particular history or source it will be nice for people to know the importance of a history attached to a particular food.
Amina you know we have not even scratched the surface with this book. There’s no way we can include all the Nigerian recipes in one book. This one was made based on requests for the most popular Nigerian recipes which cut across all the tribes. One by one, we will get to all the recipes. 🙂

2.I will rate the book on 9. My reasons are many. One of the reasons is because any one could use the book even a Non-Nigerian because of the the recipes of some snacks, quick bites and simple foods there. it depends on how adventurous you are with food. About 4 sisters in the church have bought their own copies after seeing mine and experimenting the recipes on their own. My children complain of eating the same thing all the time but now the book avails me to try new recipes with the same food items available in the market.
3. What I like most about the book is the simplest ways of making some foods that I never knew before and this is what my husband and children wanted.
4. This may sound funny but I will suggest you put it in different languages. There is a lot of intermarriage going on now even outside the nation of Nigeria. If the book is written in major languages in the world and Nigeria. It may go a very long way to make people who married from “outside” feel at home if they can read the cookbook in their language. It’s just a suggestion 🙂

Hi Flo, well done. I bought mine from konga online. They delivered to my home, I rate your book 7, I like the simplicity of your language, colourful pictures and all, that’s why I bought it, it saves me energy on directing my daughter to cook. For your next edition consider to include very very native snacks like agbalaoti for igbos which is steamed egusi balls wrapped in plantain leaves , but the version I saw last week that I traveled home blew me away, it had ukpaka-oil bean and stock fish in it, Flo, I bet it will blow u away too. I would like you to include corn moi moi but it has termites -aku in it, I looked everywhere when I traveled home but couldn’t get it. People collect termite with a white basin filled with water under fluorescent light at night after heavy rain. Termites would get trapped in the basin and later they will be cleaned, fried and eaten like that or used in that corn moi moi. I wish I saw it in my village’s market at least to convince my kids that such delicacies made out of termites exist. I would also like you to include some foreign foods and snacks that are easy to make. Consider throwing more light on dessert cakes and small small occasion cakes well decorated. Cheers.

1. I won the All Nigeria Recipe cookbook on my birthday and the same day I got engaged *coversface* during the December giveaway. (Am married now *winks*)
2.I will rate 8, because lecturer no dey give students all the mark..lol. But seriously the reason is because I know there is more room to accommodate more recipes from our beloved country. We have less drinks too.
3.I love the easy to read procedure/direction on how to identify and use the recipes.
I love the pictural explanations of identifying recipes and how to use them.
Most importantly I love the measurement conversion to our local level.

1. I got the cookbook from my aunt. I ‘found’ it in her house and loved it. So I asked if I could have it and she gave me as a ‘gift’ lol ??
2. I would rate it an 8. This is because the recipes are written in an easy to understand manner, there are so many recipes there giving me a wide range of dishes to learn to prepare.
3. The thing I like the most about the cookbook is that there are lots of recipes in it and it makes cooking fun to do!
4. If there were to be another edition, I would suggest that you please write where some ingredients could be purchased.

What to know how to cook
1. I received All Nigerian Recipes Cookbook as a gift from a friend Amanda Ebere.
2. I would rate it 7(I would say it means Fantastic).
I chose 7(Fantastic) because it contains all Nigerian tribes Recipes with clear images and step by step simple instructions which makes it easy, interesting and exciting to learn new recipes. This also helps a person learning how to cook from the scratch to easily learn fast.
3. The one thing I like most about the All Nigerian Recipes Cookbook is the images because it helps me to recognise some new ingredients.
4.If there would be another edition, I would suggest you include selected recipes from different countries.

Debby ooo that cake icing is better explained with videos. Too much involved to be adequately explained with just written text. We shall see. 🙂
