Yes o Chioma, the Okra Plantain Porridge is very tasty.
The Nigerian Aphrodisiac drink was just a wao for me. Very easy to make, enjoyed it lots. Thanks Flo. This is a drink for visitors in my home, no longer artificial drinks.
That’s a great habit to form Cynthia! Natural drinks are the best especially now that I see photos of people finding strange things in artificial drinks. Very scary!
Didn’t you add vegetable oil or any type of oil to the turmeric rice?or its not needed?
No Victoria, you don’t need anymore oil. There is natural chicken oil in the chicken stock. When you boil chicken especially the hard chicken (hen), allow the chicken stock (water from cooking the chicken) to cool down completely. You see that cream coloured something that cakes at the top? That’s oil. It’s more than enough. 🙂
Guday Aunty Flo, How is your family? Flo Please help me out with Kids Timetable for their School Lunch, tired of giving my kids a particular snacks and food everyday every week in their Lunch Box. Thanks
Linda Good Day. We are doing great, thanks. I hope it is the same for you and yours. 🙂

i tried the tumeric rice today as sunday special and it came out perfect. the entire family loved it. thanks alot.
Can I use ice fish to serve the turmeric rice.
John putting other ingredients in the Turmeric Rice recipe into consideration, I wouldn’t add fish to this meal. I can add shrimps or prawns but fish? But you can add fish if you love fish so much.
